Arthritis : A Balanced Approach

With arthritis every part and function of the body must be considered, as well as mental attitudes.

It is not only a question of painful joints and muscles and weight control; it is also a question of viewing the body as a whole and realizing that arthritis is not a localized disease but a cry for help from the whole organism.

In this context diet is all-important and no lasting improvement in any of the arthritic diseases can be expected if the sufferer concentrates on foods containing large proportions of white sugar and white flour and other devitalized carbohydrates, too much meat, cheese, cream, eggs, butter and frequent "fry-ups".
